Rohit Sharma and Co are busy with their final plans to take on England in the third match of the five-Test series starting tomorrow (February 15) in Rajkot. With the IND vs ENG series tied at 1-1, the encounter in Rajkot will be crucial in deciding the momentum of the series.

Today (February 14) is the last official training session of the Indian team as the players look to hone their skills one last time before taking to the field tomorrow. Captain Rohit Sharma, who has not played much in the Test series against England so far, also hopes to change his fortunes in the upcoming match.

However, his ambitions suffered a setback during today’s training session. Rohit, who bowled in the nets to correct the batting errors that have led to low scores so far, was in for a surprise.

The star India batsman was bowled twice by the new bowler

According to a report in the Indian Express, an in-swinging delivery from the rookie bowler bounced off Rohit’s middle stump. On the next ball, the Indian captain’s ball went away from him. However, the net bowler remained composed and continued his work without reacting to the two balls that dismissed Rohit.

However, Rohit spent a lot of time as a consultant. There are many new faces in the team as the Indian team is struggling due to some injuries and the unavailability of players.

During the session, Rohit was seen spending time with the youngsters, especially batsman Sarfaraz Khan and wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel. There were reports that several players are likely to make their debut for the Indian team.
