However, his ambitions suffered a setback during today’s training session. Rohit, who bowled in the nets to correct the batting errors that have led to low scores so far, was in for a surprise.

According to a report in the Indian Express, an in-swinging delivery from the rookie bowler bounced off Rohit’s middle stump. On the next ball, the Indian captain’s ball went away from him. However, the net bowler remained composed and continued his work without reacting to the two balls that dismissed Rohit.
However, Rohit spent a lot of time as a consultant. There are many new faces in the team as the Indian team is struggling due to some injuries and the unavailability of players.
During the session, Rohit was seen spending time with the youngsters, especially batsman Sarfaraz Khan and wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel. There were reports that several players are likely to make their debut for the Indian team.
