Former South African batsman AB de Villiers recently revealed on his YouTube channel that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are expecting their second child. But now he is embroiled in controversy after making a shocking claim that the information is ‘not true’. He regretted spreading false information about Kohli’s personal life and wished him well.

Family definitely comes first as I say on my YouTube show. Also, I made a terrible mistake at the same time and yes, shared false information that was not true at all. De Villiers told news agency IANS that nobody knew what was going to happen.
“All I can do is wish him the best and I think the whole world who follows Virat and enjoys his cricket should wish him the best, and whatever the reason for this hiatus. Really hope he comes back stronger, better, healthier and fresher.

De Villiers had earlier said on his YouTube channel that Virat is doing well and spending time with his family. He said, “Yes, their second child is on the way. Yes, it’s family time and things are important to him. If you are not true and true to yourself, you will not be able to keep track of what you are here for. I think most people’s priority is family. You can’t judge Virat for this.
